ships plans to basic carved hull, to finished model.

This model was commissioned by P&O along with a 1:48 model of
the old P&O liner Strathnaver for display on board the cruise
ship Aurora.
The model is of the ship after a major refit converted her into an
educational cruise ship for parties of school children (she was to
change again when later refitted to be a hospital ship for the Falkland
campaign).
